It is Dr. Arash Abolfazlian’s goal to give you the healthy, beautiful smile you deserve in a fun and professional environment. Orthodontic treatment is a big decision for you and your family, and our caring team will make this an amazing journey!
Your First Visit
Your first visit with Dr. Arash is complimentary! During this new patient exam, you meet Dr. Arash and our team. Our treatment coordinator gives you a special tour of the office and takes diagnostic photos and x-rays. Dr. Arash completes a thorough exam as you discuss your concerns, and then suggests the best treatment options. We understand the needs of our families, and time is so important. We are often available to begin your treatment on the day of your exam if you prefer!
So that we may provide you with the best experience, please take some time to complete our new patient and health history forms before your first appointment.
The Next Step
Congratulations! You made the decision to begin your orthodontic treatment! After your initial exam you will schedule your first appointment to begin your journey. Typically, this is the day you may get your braces or another orthodontic appliance, depending on your customized treatment plan. This appointment usually takes about an hour. You’ll receive your own orthodontic care kit, and our team answers your questions. We’re here to make sure that you and your family is as comfortable, and relaxed as possible.
Scheduling Appointments
There has never been a better time to begin orthodontic treatment! With today’s technology, appointments are so convenient, and you will find that you will not miss as much school or work. You will visit Dr. Arash about every four to ten weeks. It is important that you stay on track with your treatment goals in the estimated time. To accomplish this, it is imperative that you schedule and attend these appointments. We will work with you to schedule days and times that work best for you. At the end of each appointment, our Certified Orthodontic Assistants provide a progress update from Dr. Arash. This update will include areas of concern, an oral hygiene grade, a cooperation grade and notes from Dr. Arash.
If you must cancel and reschedule a particular appointment, please give us a courtesy call 24 hours prior to that appointment. If you are running late to an appointment, please call our office at your earliest convenience – be advised that appointments delayed 15 minutes or more may need to be rescheduled.
Your General Dentist is a Vital Part of Our Team
We work closely with your dentist to maintain healthy teeth and gums during your orthodontic treatment. Dr. Arash recommends that our patients see their general dentist at minimum twice a year for cleanings and evaluation. If he sees that you need additional dental treatment, he will be happy to go the extra mile to coordinate with your dentist to ensure the best result. We are proud of our continued relationships with our dental teams! They are an extension of our team!
